And that’s a wrap! We completed all six races of the 2023 EnduroKa series, including the IndyKa 500 finale at Brands Hatch. We saw the biggest grid yet, and after a successful run of races, the team had lots of confidence going into the weekend. Yet again, the conditions were not great as rain featured heavily throughout the weekend.
Unfortunately, we took an early trip into the gravel in qualifying which put us on the back foot. The team were able to get the car turned around quickly and all four drivers completed their minimum of 3 laps to race the next day. With the rain getting worse throughout the session we ended up 27th out of 38 cars.
The race soon arrived the following day (along with more rain…), however, despite the tricky conditions and being towards the back end of the grid, the team and drivers made little to no mistakes throughout the 500-minute race which concluded into the darkness, and we crossed the line in 12th place!
A huge congratulations to the team and drivers for a very successful season in their first year of EnduroKA racing – we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
