A fourth and fifth class finish in the FTR Events 4HR Beach Epic at Zandvoort. It was a strong start for the 11.Tenths Black Team as they kept it clean at the front, but a few small but costly mistakes later in the race dropped them down the order, one place ahead of the 11.Tenths Red Team, who had a very consistent race with the least incident points of all the teams.
A great introduction to endurance racing for Oliver Carwardine, Byron Crawford and Paul Stout in the Red Team, and lots learned for Mark Baxter-Jones, Colin Wynn and Johnny Elia in the Black Team. Both teams will be back in 3 weeks to take on the Double Header Down Under at Bathurst on the 12th of June, so stay tuned. Final race results below.
